Since our inception, Autism Ally has endeavored to give a voice to the voiceless through it's Assistive Technology Program, supporting non-verbal autistic and developmentally disabled participants with customized communications tablets for a preserved quality of life for these such recipients. This critical support could not be delivered without the help of our allies and allies of the greater neurodivergent community.
For the month of May, we've set a fundraising goal of $12,000 for acquisition and distribution of assistive technology to non-verbal graduates of Special Education Schools like The Children's Guild and Cedar Lane School as they prepare to transition out of their schools and subsequently leave it's assistive technology behind.
